The H&K VP9 (called SFP9 in Europe) is the modern striker-fired duty pistol issued to the Lithuanian Armed Forces — the first NATO military to adopt it as their primary service pistol — and the Japanese Self-Defense Forces (the first national military to adopt the SFP9, in 2019). It's also the standard sidearm of multiple German State Police forces (Bavaria, Berlin, Lower Saxony, Saxony, Brandenburg, Saarland and others), with over 110,000 SFP9 units in service across German federal and state agencies. Germany has also donated SFP9 pistols to Ukrainian forces since 2022, and several US police departments adopted it in 2025.
If you've been disappointed by half-blowback CO2 pistols, here's the difference:
The real H&K VP9/SFP9 is the result of decades of Heckler & Koch service-pistol design. Striker-fired, polymer frame with ergonomic interchangeable grip panels, Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 rail, ambidextrous controls, fully suited for left- and right-handed shooters. The airsoft replica carries over the same shape, the same handling, the same licensed markings.
Manuals: Umarex official product page with manual.
Delivery: 3–14 working days when ordered.
The G36 is the standard service rifle of the Lithuanian Armed Forces and was the Bundeswehr's primary rifle until the 2026 G95 transition. The H&K G3 (and its Swedish Ak4 clone) is still carried by the Lithuanian Riflemen's Union. The Glock 17 and H&K VP9/SFP9 are the issued sidearms. Build the full loadout:
