Searching for a Makarov PM? This is a fully legal 1:1 scale airsoft replica — the same silhouette, size and feel as the historic weapon, but no firearms permit required in most EU countries. Owning a real Makarov PM typically means a certified gun safe, background checks and €1,500–€4,000+ for a collectable original. This replica costs a fraction of that, ships across the EU, and is the fastest legal way to own an accurate copy of this gun for display, historical re-enactment, airsoft skirmish, or as a learning piece. Note: airsoft laws vary by country — it is the buyer's responsibility to confirm that owning an airsoft replica is legal where they live before purchasing.
Makarov's Cold War pistol
The Pistolet Makarova (PM), designed by Nikolai Makarov and adopted in 1951, served the Soviet armed forces, the KGB and every Warsaw Pact military as standard issue for decades. Compact, simple and reliable, it remained in production well past the end of the Cold War and is still in limited use today.
This is the CO2 airsoft version: metal slide, polymer frame, 13-round CO2 magazine. Non-blowback design — no recoil simulation, but better gas efficiency and a higher shot count per CO2 cartridge than blowback variants. Velocity around 360 FPS (~1.2 J).
