Spring-cocking puts you in the right mindset for sniping: line up the shot, control your breath, fire one round, work the charging handle and repeat. No giveaway full-auto noise, no wasted BBs, no muzzle climb. With 0.25 g or 0.28 g BBs the rifle is comfortably effective at 40–50 m on the field – more than enough to hold a long lane and pick off careless opponents.
For DMR roles and tactical builds
The black synthetic furniture works with modern loadouts as easily as it does with classic Cold War reenactment. The standard SVD side rail accepts a 4×24 SVD scope or any SVD-pattern mount. Drop in a bipod, sling and a couple of spare magazines and the rifle is field-ready.
