Searching for a Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk I? This is a fully legal 1:1 scale airsoft replica — the same silhouette, size and feel as the historic weapon, but no firearms permit required in most EU countries. Owning a real Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk I typically means a certified gun safe, background checks and €1,500–€4,000+ for a collectable original. This replica costs a fraction of that, ships across the EU, and is the fastest legal way to own an accurate copy of this gun for display, historical re-enactment, airsoft skirmish, or as a learning piece. Note: airsoft laws vary by country — it is the buyer's responsibility to confirm that owning an airsoft replica is legal where they live before purchasing.
The Commonwealth's WWII service rifle
Designed at RSAF Enfield and adopted on the eve of the Second World War, the Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk I replaced the older SMLE as the standard rifle of the British Army and was issued in vast numbers across the Commonwealth. The fast-cycling rear-locking bolt and 10-round magazine made it one of the most effective bolt-action rifles ever produced — and a clear ancestor of every battle rifle that followed.
This airsoft version is a spring-powered reproduction in the prized real-wood configuration: genuine wooden furniture over a metal receiver, with a 30-round metal magazine and chrono around 390 FPS (~1.41 J). The long 570 mm inner barrel delivers very consistent accuracy with 0.25-0.30 g BBs — ideal sniper performance for a spring platform.
