The Arisaka Type 38 was the rifle that armed the Imperial Japanese Army from 1905 onward, carrying Japanese infantry through the Russo-Japanese aftermath, the Second Sino-Japanese War and the entire Pacific theatre of World War II. Its long, sleek silhouette and 6.5 mm cartridge gave it lighter recoil than most contemporary service rifles — a small-arms doctrine choice that distinguished it on the battlefields of Manchuria and the Pacific.

This airsoft version recreates the original in its real-wood configuration: genuine wooden stock and handguard over a metal action, with a 15-round magazine and a long 600 mm inner barrel for tight downrange groups. The spring action chronos at around 380 FPS (~1.34 J), very respectable sniper-grade output for a spring platform.
